It seems to me that there is now a confusion between public and private space: people talk works as if they were in their living room, everyone feels at home facing the creative spaces. However, the field of art must allow artists to break things, disassemble, observe and expose otherwise. The opposition between freedom of speech and freedom of expression is repeated too often, and I see no end to this type of action.

From April 1 to 7 held in France the week of sustainable development. This initiative, launched in 2002 by Jean-Pierre Raffarin, then Prime Minister, aims to inform the public of the practical aspects of sustainable development but also to stimulate reflection on policy level. According to a 2007 edition attracted over 1600 participants, the Ministry of Ecology, Development and Sustainable Planning (MESD) decided to make the sustainable production and consumption the central theme of this week. Like all the days or weeks celebration of this type - Sidaction or Women's Day, for example - we may question the relevance of restricting a short period a fundamental issue that requires reflection and permanent action.
This event will be accompanied by the 3rd edition of the States General Business and Sustainability April 2, 2008 that will bring together 400 private decision-makers, public and charitable organizations. We can hope that the ensuing decisions will be part of the continuity of the Grenelle Environment Forum, which was held last fall and which we continue to expect the legislative pronatec outcome, and they serve as booster pronatec shot.
In the case of sustainable development, a long-term effort will be required to bring this concept into all aspects of the daily life of the French. Hope that the communication made this week will achieve those still unfamiliar with its challenges.
