After an intensive start-up and preparation period at the end of March, has now been SAE UH-60 maintained FORWARD MEDEVAC emergency ISAF RC (S) for more than two months. Parallel to preparedness has dressing has maintained and further developed the necessary abilities. It has been very stimulating for all functions; aviation, aircraft maintenance, management and MED team. The dressing works very well.
During the first cirkaa two months SAE helikopterevakuerat sciencedirect order of 10 patients. As the number of combat-related injuries are few, these have mainly been acute illness and traffic accidents. The dressing has on all those sharp assignments well contained timing requirements for "Take Off" after the alarm, in some cases, the helicopters lifted from the camp marmal in less than five minutes after the task come to our OPS.
In mid-May, we had an estimated visits by air tactical commander (Ftch), Micael sciencedirect Bydén. It became the SAE a very good visit, among others on the occasion of the discussions Ftch had with COM RC (N). It was also very satisfying to showcase SAE and describe our everyday lives. We also got the opportunity to listen to the General's information on what is happening outside our "bubble". Thank the boss for outstanding support!
At the end of May it was time for the MOE 1 [1] that in a week hand over the baton and experience to the MOE 2. The handover was pressed sciencedirect for time and during this period we had stopover in readiness. Other parts of the RC (N) MEDEVAC Dressing held during this period sciencedirect preparedness. The handover and start-up of the MOE 2 has gone very well. The new force was well prepared thanks to the continuous transfer of experience from the area and conducted exercises in Sweden. SAE is now, since the beginning of June, the re-readiness after the first absolution has taken place. At the end of July, will return MOE 1. At that time they will be able to go into their preparedness significantly faster thanks to the experience of his first period sciencedirect of service. I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks to the staff of the MOE 1 who made a very good job with the startup of "ICEPAC" and the first months of preparedness.
From aircraft maintenance At Aviation Services has had a busy time since we came here about two weeks ago. In a week, there was a Hoto with the team that we solved by. It was very good, it was like taking over a ducat smorgasbord of good practices and a good structure in the hangar! It has helped us today to take over MEDEVAC preparedness while we complete sciencedirect a major service on one of the helicopters.
Challenges missing sciencedirect not! We have started to get nasty heat. The temperature has remained at over 42 degrees and it will be warmer. The fluid supply sciencedirect must be virtually constant. But our Blackhawks seem to cope with the heat and the sandy environment in a good way. The maintenance of the helicopters will be slightly different than what we are used to from our home base in Linköping. There have been a number Dust landings, ie, landing on a sandy surface. It means that much sand penetrates everywhere: in the cockpit and cabin, under the covers and doors, everywhere! The only place spared motors are protected by effective sand filter. The extra maintenance consists of cleaning the exposed points after each flight sciencedirect session, including on the piston surfaces and layers. The sand can penetrate into the parts and cause leakage or other problems.
As a technician, I have been forced to change my opinion about when a helicopter is clean enough. It will not make any difference how much we vacuuming or washing, there will always be sand somewhere but we must see it as a souvenir of our time here.
From Aerospace Force Flights Force has after two weeks of Hoto started maintaining MEDEVAC -beredskapen. During Hoto, we have implemented customary inprocessing sciencedirect on Marmal and training flights. Mainly sciencedirect we have concentrated on the dust-landings and NVG. We maintain high now starting readiness FORWARD MEDEVAC. During the preparedness is not just waiting for alarm, but we also carry out training flights in the vicinity. Between contingency periods we conduct further training flight, recovery and restoration to once again go on preparedness.
In the final phase of our MEDEVAC -training sciencedirect in this area, we conducted a sharp MEDEVAC missions. It was during an exercise with the Latvian land unit we got the request to carry a sharp assignments. The mission was conducted by OPS message sent orders to the roots that were already on their way to that area. The mission was carried out without problems. Good transition from Hoto and readiness of the profit that a patient received good care.

Operations (OPS) is the hub of the joint. This is where all information sciencedirect flows into and go out to the parts that need the information. OPS is dressing 2-3-5 feature and sitting on intelligence about their own and the opponent's joints, handles communication outward and planning, follow-up and evaluation
