The UCI cinemas displays the version of "Sleeping Beauty" ballet at one of the most famous theaters in the world, tr the body of the Bolshoi Ballet. The classic will be on display in Kinoplex Casa Forte and Recife on Saturday (21) at 17h, and Sunday (22) at 14h. In the version of Yuri Grigorovich, the exciting show will appeal to all lovers of fairy tales for Christmas.
In the story, Princess Aurora is cursed at birth by the evil fairy Carabosse and falls asleep in a deep sleep on her 16th birthday. Only the kiss of a prince be able to wake her and break the curse. Based on the classic fairy tale by Charles Perrault, "Sleeping Beauty" has been a huge success since its debut in 1890. Directed by Marius Petipa, is one of the most popular and successful choreographic works from the repertoire of the Bolshoi.
"The Buccaneer" was the first ballet to be displayed in full season of the Bolshoi. The presentations will continue from February 2014, with the show "Jewels".
