Chris Barnard, a British High pupil who swim for Tuks British Swimming Club, recently at the Telkom SA Youth Championships entrained thing with Telkom SA National Senior Open swimmers. Four swimmers from Tuks qualified for the Olympic Games in England. They are Roland Schoeman, Karin Prinsloo worries Botha and Emily Gray. Chris has for the second consecutive year NTS received provincial colors for his participation in Telkom SA Youth Championships. He is now NTS's fastest 50 meters borsslagswemmer danza kuduro in the 16-year-old age group. He also holds the 100 meters breaststroke improved by more than 5 seconds. Chris has also participated in Telkom SA Level 3 Kampioenskapppe and excelled with an improvement of 21 seconds with seven items. He finished sixth in South Africa, with its 50 meter breaststroke ended, and with it his qualification for SA National Senior Kampioeskappe with a six-hundredths of a second missed.
