21. February 2009 20:36 Apple's built-in backup software in Leopard, Time Machine, is for the most part an easy and good way to backup to. The back up without you really noticing it and restore is so easy that even your mother can figure it out.
The problem is that Time Machine does not have an opportunity to resume the backup to an existing time machine session, but on the other hand starts all over again if you change the motherboard or restore their machine from any source other than Time Machine.
How many shifts right motherboard (logic board) on a Mac? after a restore?
Moreover, the picture is an airport with attached hard drive, just not as Time Machine minded, Time Capsule could probably have more to do with it, but beyond that, the TM as a fine lovely icon, you could have used.
I am a Microsoft Certified Professional .. and I am Apple fanboy!
"The back up without you really noticing" It is perhaps disingenuous, I think it slows down the machine heidelberg and once that goes coke in backups so there is only one way and that is the formatting of your Time Capsule and start over.
Why continue on its previous backup if you change HW out and reinstalled? There would be a greater idea to make a new backup, where it is sure that all the info is correct. Instead of backup which half conceals another system?
After a format I continued just to backe up to TC. Without problems, it takes just 5 seconds extra to load the ones that come before the format, heidelberg but otherwise it works without a hack and partying.
# 4 It works brilliantly here, and that's only if I suck bigger things from the web that I can feel that the time machine is running. I have sat with the bucket for 4 hours now, 4 backups I have not noticed.
